Ephraim Wetland Preserve Trail

"I have visited this simple nature walk many times over the years when my children were little and we always loved it. Still a great way to spend a few minutes enjoying the Door County’s beautiful woodlands. Pity they no longer maintain the interpretative trail signs which have gone into disrepair."

"This is a really simple trail system, but it's very nice. The bugs weren't too bad. They have what looks like some new and very nice boardwalks. We enjoyed hiking here."

"Super easy access to nature in Ephraim. Right off the highway with easy parking this nature trail is great for getting away from the crowds for a quick walk through the woods. You will see deciduous and coniferous trees with a few lovely meadow areas. In the spring and summer you will see many wildflowers. The interpretative trail is in disrepair but it used to have informative signs and a self guided trail guide. (It was probably in the mid 1990s that it was in use.) The trail is flat but a bit overgrown. There are small trees to step over but it is an easy walk. It would be a great break for families with younger children. Maybe 30 minutes max at a slow stroll."
