North Nicolet Bay Campground

"All in all we had a great stay at the North Nicolet Bay Campground while visiting Peninsula State Park and Door County. The park is wonderful and has so much to offer, see and do. The campgrounds were fairly well kept and had nice restroom facilities, although the showers were quite a ways from our site at the southern end of the loop. We had a great site right on the water with wonderful views of the bay. Our site was fairly level with a gravel pad, fire ring and picnic table. We had immediate access to the shared bike/ walking trail. I would definitely stay there again."

"Very last minute camping trip Memorial Day weekend and was very lucky to get a campsite. The bugs (midges) were terrible. I did not realize how gorgeous this spot was as we arrived in the middle of the night on the first night. Be advised that if you pick a campsite closer to the beach, there is a lot of bike traffic coming from fish creek so there are lots of “peekers” if your site is on the trail. The bathrooms in north Nicolet were smothered with bugs so I took my bike to the next showers north near the lighthouse with no problems at all and were well maintained. Great for a family getaway and will definitely be coming back"

"What an awesome location to stay at. From the campsite it was just a short walk to the shoreline where each morning presented some amazing views. Bathrooms are fairly well maintained, and the campsite themselves are in wonderful shape."
