"Great place for kids and disabled as well as general public. Lots of wildlife to see. Be mindful.of the Nesting birds during breeding season then can be protective of their nests. Please be careful to remove your waste as this is a sanctuary for birds and garbage kills Thank you for considering the welfare of the wildlife you came to admire."

"My husband and I decided to rent out the outdoor Pavilion and also pay for some land to set up our ceremony in the grass. It was exceptional. The DNR there was so helpful, and when we asked if we could have some brush cleaned up so we could see the water behind where we set the arbor up, not only did he have that spot cleaned up. But the whole area. Was a beautiful spot and a great experience. Also camped the whole weekend and the campsites were nice and clean. Was also nice for the kids, they could go play at the park anytime. Will always recommend this park if anyone asks for a nice nature area."

"We have been coming to the campground at the park one at least a yearly basis since before our youngest child(now 37) was an infant. It's small, quiet, well cared for, and patrolled be an on-site ranger. There is also a camp host, to place reserved tags on campsites, sell firewood, look after the behavior in the campground, in case a complaint needs to be made.to the ranger. It's a quiet, lovely place, and we hope it always stays that way."
